After being powered on, the audio signal current generated by the oscillator passes through the electromagnetic coil, causing the electromagnetic coil to generate a magnetic field. The diaphragm vibrates periodically under the interaction between the electromagnetic coil and magnet, thus emitting sound.

The electromagnetic buzzer has a small volume, light weight, and is easy to install, weave, and package, making it easy to transport. Its advantages are low voltage, high sound pressure, up to 85dB at 1.5V, and low response frequency. Electromagnetic buzzers are widely used in small electronic devices, such as MP4 Bluetooth reverse radar, medical equipment, toy drone cameras, car mounted DVDs, water dispenser control panels, etc. The electromagnetic buzzer has such a small size, but its small body has a lot of energy and can still emit the same frequency or even decibels as a cylindrical buzzer, so there is no need to worry about insufficient sound when it is used as a warning sound.

Due to its ultra-small and ultra-thin characteristics, the shape of the electromagnetic buzzer is square. Piezoelectric buzzers and electromagnetic buzzers can be further divided into electromagnetic buzzers, so their use is the same as piezoelectric buzzers and electromagnetic buzzers, specifically used for various types of telephones, clocks, medical devices, digital products, toys, office equipment, laptops, microwaves, air conditioners, household appliances, equipment control boards, etc.

The electromagnetic buzzer is a high-performance BTL output piezoelectric buzzer specific driving circuit, which adopts a new planning concept and process skills, improving the equivalence and various technical indicators of the product. The IC has active frequency tracking and temperature compensation functions, which prevent the buzzer from responding to changes in event voltage and situational temperature, resulting in frequency drift; Accepting SOP-8 SMT packaging can fully accept SMT components and processes, replacing most inductor boost drivers, greatly improving production efficiency and reducing production costs.

A buzzer is an integrated electronic buzzer, and electromagnetic buzzer is one of them, mainly including SDM electromagnetic buzzer, SMT active buzzer, and SMT passive buzzer. The difference between "active" and "passive" is due to differences in internal structure. "Active" refers to a buzzer with an internal driving circuit that allows users to produce sound using alternating current. "Passive" refers to a buzzer that only emits sound when an external driver circuit is added. This type of product is mainly suitable for communication products and has a relatively high price.

Mechanical multimeters are often used to test the performance of electromagnetic buzzers. Set the multimeter to 25V, hold two probes with your right hand, and press the buzzer with your left hand to make the pointer swing to the right. Under the same pressure, the greater the pointer swing, the higher the sensitivity. If not moved, the buzzer may leak electricity or be damaged internally. This buzzer has the advantages of small size, high sensitivity, power-saving, reliability, low cost, and good frequency characteristics. Widely used as an alarm device for various electrical products, electronic toys, electronic watches, calculators, etc.
